Peripatetic Singing Teacher

Walhampton is an independent preparatory day and boarding school for 370 boys and girls aged 2-13. The school lies in beautiful ancient woodland on the southern edge of the New Forest, near Lymington in Hampshire.

Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and encouraging singing teacher to join a busy music department.  The post is for 1-2 days, with the possibility of more, and might include some ensembles coaching for small choir/vocal groups.

Experience with teaching from Years 3-8 would be an advantage and candidates should be able to demonstrate an experienced singing background with good piano/keyboard skills. Experience in teaching a range of styles with good vocal technique would be advantageous as well as having excellent communication skills and the ability to work flexibly within a busy school.
