Westbourne School is a co-educational independent school in Sheffield offering first class education to girls and boys from the age of 3 to 16. Westbourne school prides itself on our musical achievements, we have a peripatetic team to teach our pupils different instruments and singing. Our pupils perform many concerts throughout the academic year, including a carol concert at a local church and the Cathedral, a gig night at the Leadmill, outdoor music for a summer’s evening and our annual prize giving at the Octagon which includes performances from our pupils. 

Westbourne has recently embarked on an ambitious building project of £3m which will see a new performing arts hall being ready for use by Sept 2022.

Westbourne School is a mixed, non-denominational, all-through independent school in South Yorkshire, serving students from the age of 4 -16. The all-through school, situated in Sheffield has approximately 350 students on record.

Westbourne School was founded in 1885 as a boys’ preparatory school. Girls joined In 1997, and a Senior School was opened in 2001.
