Manor Green School is a large and highly successful special school educating some 250 students aged 2-19, who, due to their complex needs, require significant specialist support to succeed academically and achieve their full potential.
Our students’ needs range from requiring additional pastoral and emotional support, through those with moderate and severe learning difficulties to some having profound, multiple learning and complex health problems.

We are offering the opportunity for outstanding teachers to join our peripatetic outreach team to support young people who are not managing their mainstream school placement. This role could involve working in schools across the Windsor and Maidenhead area and working in students’ homes to prepare them for reintegration back into school. It is a rewarding role that does have a positive impact on the well-being and successful outcomes of vulnerable students.
We are looking for teachers who have a background in working with challenging students and who have a flexible and creative approach to educating these young people.
You will be joining a pool of sessional teachers and teaching hours will be variable and not offered on a fixed basis.
