Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to support our growing A Level Science provision.
The successful candidate will work with the Course Managers of A Level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in devising and delivering a timetable of targeted support for students studying these subjects. They will assist in the delivery and development of the broader skills that students require in order for them to be successful in the study of science.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and flexible science teacher to design and implement learning activities that will have a real impact on the ability of all science students to progress into science related career routes beyond Huish.
The role will necessitate a close working relationship with the other Science Course Managers to develop highly effective teaching and learning resources to be used by students in and out lessons, and facilitate a culture for innovation in the way in which teaching, learning and assessment is approached.
Salary: Sixth Form Colleges pay scale £37,638 - £40,281 pa

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset. Huish prides itself on its academic excellence and strong reputation across Somerset and the Southwest, it is more than a Sixth Form College, it is a place where students can expand their horizons and develop their futures.
