Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join an extremely successful school. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, ambitious and innovative teacher of Chemistry who can make a significant contribution to this very successful department. We are looking both for teachers who are new to the profession, and also for more experienced colleagues, who are perhaps wishing to relocate or seeking to gain experience in another school. We would be happy to discuss any implications of such a move.

Cardiff High is a high achieving, aspirational school and the school consistently achieves amongst the most successful results in the UK (2016 Results Level 2 inclusive of 92%). However, we are just as proud of our inclusive approach, our attention to the wellbeing of pupils and staff and of our commitment to support every single pupil to achieve their very best.

We are a Professional Learning Hub School, an accredited Olevi School and a Curriculum Science Hub for the Central South Consortium. As a result, the successful candidate will have access to top quality professional learning opportunities. In addition, the school offers numerous opportunities to develop curriculum and pastoral leadership.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity further, have any questions or would like to visit the school, please feel free to contact Helen Jones for an appointment.
