Working as part of The GORSE Academies Trust, The Stephen Longfellow Academy is a new Academy which is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant (PA) for September 2017 or earlier if possible.
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work alongside the Principal of the Academy. This is a very busy role in an unashamedly ambitious academy. Looking to take a fresh look at alternative provision in Leeds.
As the first administration appointment you will have the opportunity to develop systems and procedures and as the academy grows to build a team. Based at Bruntcliffe Academy for year one we then anticipate a move in August 2018 to Phoenix House which is undergoing extensive renovation.
The intention of this role is to provide extensive diary management, organising and attending meetings, and acting on initiative to undertake research and compile relevant briefing papers for the Principal and the Senior Leadership team. You should be incredibly organised, efficient, personable and a team player. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to take their secretarial career to the next step in a dynamic organisation. Ideally you will have solid work experience from an industry, public services or education background and have an understanding of children and young people who present challenges.
An Application Pack (including Job Description and Person Specification) is available to download direct from our website at www.tgat.org.uk and by email to email@example.com
