PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a flexible, organised and enthusiastic person to join John Hampden Grammar School as Personal Assistant to the Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing efficient personal/secretarial support to the Assistant Headteachers and Business Manager.
This is an important role within the school and a positive attitude and calm manner along with the ability to prioritise and deal with a demanding workload is vital. You will be an excellent communicator, confident dealing with staff, pupils and parents. You will have good attention to detail and have the capacity to work in an environment that requires diplomacy, tact and confidentiality.
Previous office or administrative experience is essential and applicants must demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy. The ideal candidate will have excellent MS office skills e.g. Excel and Word. Knowledge of SIMS would be advantageous, however full training can be offered to the successful applicant if necessary.
37 hours per week (8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday), 40 weeks per year (term time plus 5 staff training days plus one additional week which will be the last week in August)
Salary is dependent on experience but will be paid within Bucks Pay Range 3, currently £21,379 - £23,108 per annum, actual pro-rata salary range £18,583 - £20,086 per annum.
