Trainer / Assessor / IQA

About the role:

We are looking for a committed and qualified assessor and internal moderator responsible for ensuring quality of assessment in BTEC and NVQ qualifications within the apprenticeship framework in Pharmacy services.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Skill scanning apprentices
  • Working with the assessor and the apprenticeship manager to ensure that all apprentices are registered on appropriate course and their optional units in agreement with their employers and with consideration of the employees skill scan process
  • Building the course file and following the Internal Quality procedure for the Centre in line with the requirements of the Awarding Body
  • Setting up standardization meetings and taking the responsibility for ensuring all assessment are correct, fair and appropriate for the completion of the framework
  • Collaborating with assessors /curriculum and business managers to give information and locate necessary information in checking the quality of assessments

About you:

You will have an Assessor/Verifier qualification and excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. You will have industry experience and relevant subject qualification.
