Bitterne Park School is a popular and oversubscribed school. As an established “Teaching School” we can offer a wide range of exciting and inspiring opportunities for staff to develop and progress. We are also undergoing a new school build and look forward to moving in 2017. The years ahead will be exciting and we are seeking to recruit innovative and committed teacher to join us on this journey.
The photography Department fits into the Design Faculty that oversees the Visual Arts and Design subjects. We have 6 full time leaders, 2 technicians and other teaching staff. The Design Faculty team are a strong and supportive group working together to champion our area and enable students to achieve the very best attainment and a high level of creativity in the many mediums and medias we teach in. We constantly seek to develop our practice and look to use new creative developments both in our areas and in teaching and learning. As well as a purposeful and busy Key stage 3 in Design Technology and Art and Design we teach Photography at GCSE and A level. We are an important and popular choice for our students to follow having had many successful students go onto foundation and degree courses.
We are looking for someone to join our team and be part of the journey to maintain high standards and develop innovation to engage students in a love of learning.
