About us:

Headlands School is an independent special school located in Penarth, a small town just outside of Cardiff. Headlands School provides education for pupils between the ages of 7-19 with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties and a range of additional learning needs.

Your role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher with a range of proven skills to join a hardworking and supportive team who are working towards making Headlands School excellent.

What you’ll need:

"The emphasis on examinations and level of attainment in an independent school for pupils with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties is sector-leading" (Estyn 2012). We are looking for an enthusiastic NQT or experienced teacher to join our high-performing and successful team, teaching PE to pupils with challenging behaviour and autistic spectrum disorders. The successful candidate will have opportunities to teach pupils within Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Post 16 and will have pastoral responsibilities for a class group. We are seeking a teacher to join our high performing, supportive and dedicated team. We welcome both secondary and primary trained Teachers.
