PHYSICS SUBJECT LEADER – TLR 2b

This National Teaching School is looking for enthusiastic and well-qualified Physics teacher to lead the department, commencing September 2018, taking responsibility for the development and continued academic success of Physics at both GCSE and Advanced Level. The person appointed will be an experienced teacher of Physics to A Level and ‘Oxbridge’; the ability to teach another subject would be an advantage. The appointed candidate will receive TLR 2b (£4,446) and the opportunity of a Recruitment Allowance to reflect their experience and abilities.

The Science department is a strong and successful department, committed to continually improving teaching methods to provide greatest benefit to the students. The person appointed will have good teaching and leadership skills, an enthusiasm for Physics and be a strong team player.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS which meets the requirements of the school.
