We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, outstanding, inspirational and student focused Physics teacher to deliver high quality learning and teaching. It is essential that you have significant skills and knowledge of teaching Physics at Levels 2 and 3, and a proven track record of achieving good results.

You will have a teaching qualification already and will be able to teach Physics A-Level, Access to HE and GCSE. You will plan and deliver high quality, imaginative and inspirational teaching, learning and assessment according to our Learning Philosophy to meet the needs of all our students on a range of programmes. At the heart of what you do will be the ability to motivate your students to make rapid progress in this subject area, successfully complete their qualification and see them move into higher levels of study or into relevant employment. IT, Maths & English will be embedded into your teaching methodology to cement these key areas into Students learning.

In this role, you will use a range of learning and teaching strategies and develop methods using technology that will encourage independent learning. Through the use of challenging individual targets and learning plans, you will be required to ensure that your student achievement is maximised.

You will also work collaboratively and proactively with managers and colleagues across the Activate Learning Group to design, develop, manage and review programmes in the faculty in light of stakeholder feedback.

The role is 26.6 hours 4 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

In return, we can offer you a range of benefits - from ongoing professional development to excellent pensions, holiday package and job satisfaction.

Any person offered a position will be required to complete a DBS application. Activate Learning is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This is an amazing opportunity for you to be part of a College that is on its journey to becoming Outstanding and share in our students’ successes!
