Al Ain Academy invites applications from outstanding Physics teachers to join our team from September 2021. We are looking for a passionate Physics Teacher  with experience of delivering Physics to the highest standard at GCSE and A level. The ability to teach other sciences to KS3/4 is also an advantage. We use Edexcel as our exam board.

Al Ain Academy is currently seeking an ambitious Teacher of Physics for a our British curriculum international school from September 2021. The school is seeking to expand its experienced department with teachers  who can facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides all students with the opportunity to achieve their highest potential.

The role will include implementing and delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students. 

The primary aim of the school is to develop students who are open and independent learners who will achieve highly and be prepared to be lifelong learners. There is no one preferred teaching style at the school and teachers are encouraged to develop individual teaching styles which are effective and suitable to their subject specialism.

The school expects:

A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A relevant BSc/MSc in Science - Physics or a related subject

Previous experience of delivering Physics up to  GCSE and A-level specifications.
