Manchester Islamic High School for Girls is an ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ rated independent school. We seek to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified part time Teacher of Science with a physics specialism to teach across KS3 & 4, and be part of a very successful department. The department has a passion for Science and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the curriculum at both KS3 and SK4, and the ability to deliver inspiring, challenging lessons that maximise pupil progress.

There will be an expectation to contribute to the wider life of the school and demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of extra-curricular and enrichment activities. A respect for the faith ethos of the school is essential.

Manchester Islamic High School for Girls has its own salary scale, and the starting salary for this post is £19680 -£25,585 (pro rata  for part time) according to qualifications, skills and experience.
