We are seeking to appoint a committed and inspiring Physics Teacher to join our supportive, enthusiastic and collaborative team at the start of the 2023/24 academic year (23 August 2023).
You will have responsibility for leading the quality of teaching and learning for learners in your classes. This will involve setting and articulating high expectations for learners and planning and teaching effectively using appropriate resourcing to challenge and engage all learners at pre-16 and in our sixth form.
This role will require high levels of personal and professional commitment and the abilty to work successfully as part of a team will be essential. The successful candidate will be highly adaptable and flexible, and need a strong work ethic.

About The JCB Academy
The JCB Academy was established in September 2010, the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering and business education.
Since opening we have been consistently successful - our Ofsted inspection in September 2018 recognised us as a “Good” school with “outstanding” features, including progress in mathematics, engineering and vocational courses and the dedication to keeping learners safe and secure.
Learner numbers are growing and we have been oversubscribed every year. Currently we cater for approximately 700 full time learners aged 13-19 as well as approximately 300 learners aged 16+ following apprenticeships.
The academy is located in Rocester, Staffordshire in an adapted and renovated mill, built by the famous industrial entrepreneur and engineer, Richard Arkwright, in the late 18th century.
