We are looking for a qualified Physics Technician to join our busy team of laboratory technicians, working in a state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly science centre.
The role will involve supporting teaching staff and pupils with the preparation of apparatus and materials for practical classes, and to assist with occasional clerical administration.
This role would suit a person who has initiative, is practical and well organised, and who enjoys working as part of a team.
You will work during term time, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings.
Experience of working within a science environment (e.g. school or university science department, science based industry) is desirable but not essential.
