The Dragon is seeking to appoint a Piano Teacher from September 2019 to teach children aged 6 – 13 across the Prep and Pre-Prep site. The successful candidate must have experience teaching this age group and should be dynamic and engaging in their teaching style. They will be required to demonstrate a solid understanding of technique and performance skills at interview. The candidate will need to be available to give demonstrations and provide taster sessions for new pupils, in order to promote the instruments and generate a greater teaching timetable.
The successful applicant may be asked to run ensembles for various age groups and abilities, if appropriate, once their position has commenced. This will involve working alongside the Director of Music and Head of Keyboards, in order to assist the children in preparation for concerts and school events.
