Placements and Consultancy Co-ordinator

Part Time (0.5), Fixed Term until April 2021.

Truro and Penwith College has a number of vacancies across a range of new European Social Fund (ESF) projects, which will address skills gaps and support individuals with training and information, advice and guidance across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

ESF INNOVATION IN HIGHER LEVEL SKILLS

This partnership project will deliver an employer-led approach to improve local business engagement with higher level skills through the development and trialling of innovative new provision and delivery models.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to generate, co-ordinate and supervise project-based work placement activities for Truro and Penwith College students with SME and micro-businesses across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The ideal candidate would have experience of business engagement and of establishing the support needs of a business, along with an understanding of the business landscape of Cornwall. The post holder would need to be adept at establishing good relationships with students and employers and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. Access to or use of transport is required.
