Play Assistant

(18 Hours per week Term Time and 36 Hours per week during school holidays)

Perth and Kinross Council is looking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated childcare professional to join the Kids Club team at Milnathort as a Play Assistant.

The successful applicant will contribute to the provision of high quality play experiences within the after school setting, ensuring the smooth running of the service and offering support and care to children and their families. The hours of this post are 18 hours during term-time and 36 hours during the holidays.

The successful postholder will be supported to access award bearing qualifications and undertake continuing professional development opportunities.

Applicants must register with the Scottish Social Services Council as a Support Worker within 6 months of appointment and they will guided and supported to do this.
