JOB TITLE: Play Leader
LINE MANAGER: Play Coordinator (SLT)
PURPOSE OF JOB: To support and facilitate meaningful and productive child initiated play during the school day. To take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of children while in the playground.
TERM OF CONTRACT: Fixed term to July 2023 ; may be extended subject to satisfactory performance management.
SALARY: NJC (2022 rates) scale point 1 £20,258 per annum FTE + London Weighting Allowance £2,094 FTE = £22,352
Actual Pro Rata Salary = £5,909 + £610 = £6,519
HOURS: 12.5 hours per week, 38 weeks term time (potential to increase hours with additional TA role)
Monday to Friday: 11.30am to 2:00pm
