Whitchurch Primary School & Nursery is a four form entry school, situated in the London Borough of Harrow. We want the very best for every child in our school and as staff we work hard to ensure our children are happy and safe so they can achieve their full potential. Our pupils’ behaviour and welfare is outstanding and our academic outcomes well above national average. We operate our own in-house childcare services comprising of Early Birds (Breakfast Club) and Night Owls (After School Club).

We are seeking to appoint two Play Leaders who can join our Night Owls team.

Qualities the successful candidate will need:

  • fun, enthusiastic and engaging attitude
  • some experience of sports or physical development in young children
  • ability to work as part of team
  • a flexible attitude

Children are aged between 4 and 11 years old with a wide range of abilities and interests. The role would involve reporting to the Club Manager; planning and supervising fun physical and creative activities; engaging and interacting with play/creative activities alongside supporting children at snack time. Collectively, as part of the team, being responsible for the safety and care of the children throughout the club.

The hours of work are: 3pm – 6pm Monday to Friday
