We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic Play Workers to join our dedicated Kids Club team.  The position(s) is term-time only and working patterns are negotiable with additional hours available to work in our Holiday Club throughout the year.

Kids Club is open for breakfast sessions from 7.30-9.00am (Monday to Friday) and after-School sessions from 3.00pm to 6.30pm (Monday to Thursday and 6pm on Friday).

Our Holiday Club will operate during specific weeks throughout the year and will be open from 8am-6pm each day.

The ideal candidate(s) will have, or will consider working towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) and/or have experience of working with children.  They will be enthusiastic in engaging children in a range of activities from crafts and games to cookery and outdoor play.

Play Worker (Before and After School) and Holiday Club Opportunities

Salary: Scale 1 from £17,364-£18,065 (£9,746 to £10,135 pro rata per annum)

Hours: 24.5 per week (7.30-9am for Breakfast Club and 3.00-6.30 for After School Club and 3-6pm on a Friday)

This is a permanent, term time only position

Professional Development

We attach huge importance to continued Professional Learning and recognise that, in the exciting and ever-changing environment in which we work, we are all learners and are constantly looking for ways to improve our practice.

Our comprehensive programme of in-house Professional Learning comprises weekly pedagogy-based sessions, Further Professional Learning sessions, and opportunities to coach and mentor and to engage in research.
