Oaklands is an excellent special school based in Isleworth and serving the London Borough of Hounslow. Oaklands pupils aged 11 – 19, have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism.
Oaklands is at an exciting point in its development; we are currently working towards expansion and full school relocation to a purpose built new school in Hounslow for September 2018. The schools will be based on two sites and will consist of the current secondary school (High Oaks) along with a new primary school (New Oaks) and an independent post 19 college (Great Oaks) opening September 2018.
Our student numbers are rapidly expanding and as a result we are looking to appoint teachers in all departments in both our primary and secondary departments.
We will be advertising posts for Great Oaks College separately.
We would love to hear from teachers with experience of working with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties who are able to deliver a multisensory curriculum. What is important is the desire and motivation to make a difference to our students’ lives. We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our belief.
