Vision for Education are currently seeking teaching assistants to work in Special Needs Schools across Manchester. We are interested in people who want to work with pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities from Foundation Stage up to 16-19 year olds.
The schools that we work with aim to provide inclusive and vibrant environments and adopt, for many students, a sensory approach to learning. Experience working within an SEND school or with children/young people with moderate learning disabilities of some sort is advantageous for this role.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
• Have a desire to work with children with SEND
• Have a minimum of 6 weeks relevant experience
• Have a patient and caring nature.
