Music Therapist
Hours: 1 day per week (Wednesday), Term Time only
A vacancy has arisen for a Music Therapist to work at Bedelsford School, a special school within the Orchard Hill College Academy Trust.
Bedelsford School is an outstanding special school in Kingston, South London, which aims to provide innovative education and a challenging environment for pupils aged 2 to 19, who have a wide range of physical disabilities, including profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex health needs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated music therapist who will work collaboratively with other therapists and teaching staff at the school, with the aim of providing a holistic therapeutic approach to their work with students.
You will have an MA or equivalent qualification in Music Therapy with UK HCPC Registration, and a degree in a relevant field. You will ideally have 2 years’ post qualification experience, including experience of working with children who have severe/profound and multiple learning disabilities, although applications from newly-qualified Music therapists are welcomed.
