Actual Salary: £17,965 - £19,830 per annum
+ £2,000 allowance per annum for Work Experience Coordinator role
37 hours per week, term time + 1 week
Required to start September 2022
The school is seeking to appoint to the role of Post 16 Academic Mentor & Work Experience Coordinator to work closely assisting the Post 16 Leadership team with the core purpose of raising achievement for Sixth Form students and coordinating work experience. The role will involve individual mentoring and academic support as directed by the Heads and Deputy Head of Sixth Form. It is essential the successful candidate has a good general education and is able to communicate well orally and in writing.
The Redhill Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust. The Academy is also a member of Redhill College of Leadership and Development and as such there are excellent CPD opportunities.

At our most recent inspection (2013), Ofsted judged that “teaching is outstanding” and that “during the inspection … the teaching observed was consistently effective in capturing students’ interest and engagement”. Our students were praised for behaving ”extremely well in lessons and around the academy site” and for being “calm, considerate and courteous at all times”. The inspectors also found that “students are proud of their academy”, which to me is probably the sentence in the report that says most about what we try and do here at Redhill.
