The role:

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Post-16 Sports Mentor to work in a local sports foundation, starting in September. Working on a Part-time (0.8 FTE) basis, this is an ideal opportunity for a committed and creative Sports Coach looking for their next role. The Post-16 Sports Mentor must have experience of working within a similar role at Key Stage 4 (KS4) and BTECH Level 3

The desired Post-16 Sports Mentor will be supported by an outstanding and passionate management team, and will work alongside some excellent practitioners, who put children at the heart of everything they do


To be considered for the Post-16 Sport Mentor role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have extensive knowledge and previous experience of and Key Stage 4 (KS4) PE and BTECH Level 3 Sport
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff​​​​​​​
  • Be willing to take responsibility for a specialist sport within the school
