Post Graduate Sport Intern

St Andrew’s Prep seeks to appoint a recent graduate to provide a range of supporting functions to the provision of sport at the school from September 2022.

The successful candidate will be completing or have completed a sports related degree or possess a high level of expertise in sport whilst completing a different degree and may be interested in PE teaching and or sport science. Candidates offering pool lifeguarding, and experience in hockey, netball,  or rugby would be welcome but not essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute fully to boarding school life as a resident tutor.

Single accommodation is provided and meals during term time are available.

One year fixed-term contract extendable to two years by mutual agreement to commence September 2022.

There are many attractions to working at St Andrew's Prep, not least its location on the south coast in the sunniest part of the country. The school is set in twelve acres of sports fields. The beach is a five-minute stroll away and a number of classrooms overlook the sea and the South Downs. With nature on its front door, St Andrew’s offers unique Forest and Beach Schools which provide opportunities to complement classroom study with outdoor learning.
