Practitioner and Head of KS3

Ajyal International School is seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner and Head of KS3, who leads  Key Stage 3 and IGCSE/ A level and provides support to Secondary Principal.

We are seeking a well-qualified leader for September 2019 to lead this level students whose first language is usually Arabic. Within cultural parameters, we follow the English National Curriculum, which constitutes around 80% of the timetable. All lessons are taught in English. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ continuous experience, UAE local experience is an advantage. They will show initiative and adaptability, will be a team player and will relish the challenges and rewards of teaching in an international setting.

Required Candidate profile:

• UK National/ UK educated and trained
• A Bachelors degree relevant to their subject area
• A Postgraduate Certificate in Education with QTS
• Minimum 4 years teaching experience in the Gulf or in UK
• 21st Century teaching skills
