Pre-Prep Assistant Educator


An opportunity has become available for a passionate, child-centred educator to join the Early Learning team at our client school in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs. The school are seeking a creative, dedicated Pre Prep/Kindergarten Assistant Educator who has a genuine passion for child-centred learning and a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework. 


About the Role:

  • Contract: ASAP Start until 31st December 2019
  • Very strong view to continue into 2020
  • Salary between 48 – 50K per annum
  • The Pre Prep/Kindergarten Assistant assists the Pre Prep/Kindergarten Teacher with all aspects of the Pre Prep//Kindergarten program.
  • Successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Well-established reputation within the community
  • State of the art technology, modern and historical facilities, contemporary resources


Requirements for this role: 

  • A minimum of a Certificate III in Children’s Services, Early childhood and Care or equivalent.
  • A working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card) or ability to acquire one is essential.
  • Have First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • This role requires a high level of physical activity and requires a physically capable individual.
  • On occasion there will be a need to lift a child (approximate weight 15kg)
  • Excellent auditory and visual capacity is required because of child safety
