Christow Primary School is a very special place to work. Our popular school is situated in an attractive elevated position at the heart of Christow Parish and enjoys picturesque grounds, with a forest school site, adventure playground and gardening area. We are looking to appoint a full-time Preschool Leader to join our Early Years team in the newly established Foundation Stage Unit.

We are seeking a Preschool Leader that:

  • Has excellent communication skills leading to effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
  • Has a good understanding of the Early Years curriculum and a commitment to creating a high quality environment which supports the Prime Areas of learning and development for all children.
  • Is committed to raising standards for young people
  • Has a personal philosophy which supports the ethos and values of the school
  • Has the ability to support rich and creative learning experiences
  • Has the ability to support early phonics and maths skills
  • Will be committed to supporting children to make good progress within their curriculum and inspire and motivate children and enable them to be the best that they can be
  • Is kind, patient, enthusiastic and compassionate with a lively, fun outlook and a curious and creative mind.
