Job overview

We wish to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual who has a real passion for working within the early years and supporting the learning and development of young children. The candidate will need to have a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent, have experience of working in the early years and have a sound understanding and commitment to the principles of the EYFS. 

As a Pre-School Worker you will be required to work within our pre-school class, which is based within our children’s centre at Stockwell Primary School. We have 20 morning places for two year olds, all of whom are eligible for the Government’s two year old early education entitlement. 

The post is 25 hours per week and you will be required to work from 8:00am until 1:00pm on a term time only basis.    

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of working within the Early Years 
  • Proven ability to observe, record and plan to support and develop children’s learning 
  • Knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and willingness to undertake training as required to develop skills
