The care and wellbeing of our pupils is a high priority and our children are enthusiastic and hardworking.

We are currently looking for a Facilities Service operative apprentice, Level 2. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills to work alongside our friendly premises team. You would be required to work across both Junior and Infant Schools and to move between multiple sites to ensure that operational needs are met.

This will be a 12 month apprenticeship with an end point assessment. Successful completion of the apprenticeship will lead to a L2 Certificate in Facilities Services Principles. There is also the possibility that on completion of the apprenticeship there would be an opportunity for a  permanent role within the Trust.

You will have:-

Welcome to our School's profile. Featherby Partnership School forms part of the Maritime Academy Trust, a multi-academy trust that is committed to making sure that education is meaningful.

Our Trust is made up of 11 primary schools located in Greenwich, Bexley and Kent. At Maritime, we do this by empowering schools to drive more meaningful and enjoyable outcomes for children by having great people working for us, who commit to working hard to make an impact whatever the school and whatever the role.

The Featherby Partnership is made up of 2 schools: Featherby Infant and Nursery and Featherby Junior who are working closely together like one school. We are going forward through an exciting period of change with a new leadership team and a collaborative approach to ensure consistency of high expectations for the whole of the Featherby community. At Featherby you will find a true passion for learning, happy and safe children, a purposeful environment and an inspiring curriculum. We believe these are the key ingredients that make a Featherby child stand out from the rest.

Our vision statement is 'Working together to inspire minds through inclusive and creative practice;  aspirations are high for all'.  Underpinning this we have our core values of unity, resilience, responsibility, respect, honesty and trust. We have high expectations of behaviour at Featherby and promote positive praise amongst learners.

Working in collaboration with each other ensures that we build strong relationships with families, children and the wider community to continuously provide children with great learning opportunities!

So, if you are looking for a place to apply your knowledge and develop your skill set in a friendly and energised environment, then Maritime may be the place for you.
