PREMISES ASSISTANT
Full Time – 35 hours per week 44 Weeks Per Year
We are currently looking to appoint a Premises Assistant to work on our Greenwich Peninsula all through school campus. This is a brand new building opening later this term. The role is full time - 35 hours per week – working alternate hours each week (week 1 - 7.00am-3.00pm/week 2 - 11.00am-7.00pm), 44 weeks of the year.
The role will include:
• Supporting the Facilities Manager in his day-to-day work
• Opening and locking up the school premises
• Running programs, tests and inspections
• Litter picking/sweeping up
• Gardening inc: weeding and maintenance of the plants/flowers
• Window cleaning
• Minor repairs where necessary
Closing date: Monday 24th September 2018 (12.00 noon)
Interviews: Friday 28th September & Monday 1st October 2018
As this role will involve contact with children we will take up at least two references before interview asking about your suitability to work with children. Any job offer will be conditional on you having a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Criminal Records Check and Barred List Check, having the legal right to work in the UK and having satisfactory overseas criminal records checks if deemed necessary.

St Mary Magdalene C of E School aims to teach pupils to treat others as they would expect to be treated. The pastoral structure of the school ensures that every student is known individually.
