Glyn School is looking to appoint a reliable and efficient Painter & Decorator to join our Premises Team as soon as possible.
This is a part-time role for 27.5 hours per week split across five days, including Saturdays. On Saturdays, we need support from 11:00am – 7:00pm, with occasional adjustments, if needed. We welcome flexible working arrangements, and can support flexible working patterns during weekdays.

Your opportunity:
You will be working with our skilled Premises Team in our busy school facility and our Premises Manager will support you with all aspects of the job role. We are a multi-building site with excellent facilities including a Sports Hall; Sports Ground with football, rugby, cricket pitches and a pavilion, a variety of purpose built school buildings and music facilities.
Ideally, you will have some experience in a similar role or can demonstrate proficiency in painting & decorating classrooms and learning environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for decorating, painting, refurbishing classrooms, and assist with other maintenance work, as needed. Typical jobs might be refurbishing classrooms, communal areas, laboratories, or sports hall. You will also be responsible to open and lock down school premises for lettings on Saturdays.

Working hours: 27.5 hours per week, 45 weeks per year (we support flexible working arrangements)
Pay Scale: GLF Associate 2, Point 8
