We are seeking to appoint a capable premises manager to our site management team. This is an important role at school, responsible for healthy and safety of the premises, site security, maintenance of the building and grounds and other essential day to day tasks related to the good running of the school premises.

The role would particularly suit someone who enjoys being 'hands on' with their work, with the opportunity and scope to be involved with a myriad of projects across the premises as part of the school's strategic plan.

Local candidates would have an advantage as the days begin early, and there may be opportunities for late evening and weekend overtime.

To apply for this vacancy, please download and complete the attached application form. This will open the relevant application form which once completed may be electronically submitted by emailing to the following mail box sbm@dayslaneprimary.co.uk. Alternatively, paper applications can be sent direct to the school, marked for the attention of Chris McCallum, School Business Manager.

Visits to the school are very welcome, and can be arranged by contacting Chris McCallum as above.

Depending on the volume of applications, we may only be able to contact those successfully shortlisted for interview.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks.

The school is committed to equality and diversity in employment practice and service delivery.

*The school reserves the right to appoint someone regarding this vacancy prior to the advertised deadline, should a suitable candidate be found in this time.
