Premises Manager

Norbury School would like to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Premises Manager with experience of working in a premises role in a busy school.  You will be part of our vibrant, hard working and supportive staff team, working in an award-winning, Rights Respecting School.  Norbury is a Safeguarding Learning Hub and Safeguarding is integral to all who work at Norbury.

To be considered you must have:

• excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills;
• recent, relevant premises experience within a school setting;
• significant experience or skills in a trade;
• good IT skills;
• good knowledge of Health & Safety, Manual Handling, COSHE and Legionella regulations;
• good interpersonal skills in dealing with both children and adults;
• enthusiasm, dedication and the ability to be an integral part of the vibrant school environment;
• the ability to organise your work and use your own initiative;
• a willingness to participate in relevant training;
• a commitment to the school's equal opportunity policy;
• a commitment to the school's safeguarding policy and procedures;

You will be required to work under the instruction of the Headteacher and School Manager.
