Job overview

The Premises Manager is responsible for ensuring the school building and grounds are managed effectively and in accordance with the operational needs of the school and any regulatory requirements. Please see the job description/person specification, below, for further details.

Salary - starting at CAN point 22 (£23,415 actual salary). Progression, subject to performance/service, is available up to CAN point 26 (£26,261 actual).

Working hours - 36 hours per week, all year round.  23 days of annual leave, 5 of which may be taken during term time, the remainder to be taken during school closure.  The typical working pattern is 07:30-15:45 (15:30 on Thursdays) with one (unpaid) hour for lunch/breaks.

Every member of staff -  from our friendly receptionists to the dedicated leadership team - works tirelessly to support our students, their families and their colleagues.

The leadership team has put in place a substantial professional development programme to encourage staff to flourish and progress.  This includes a bespoke teaching and learning package, the support of a specialist mentoring and coaching group, and opportunities for cross-Trust department collaboration.   Additionally all staff are supported by a wellbeing team which actively seeks opportunities to improve staff experience and offer support if needed.

Our school is situated in Carshalton, a short walk from Carshalton Beeches train station,  30 minutes from London Victoria by train and served by Bus routes from Sutton, Croydon and Morden.
