We are looking to recruit a Premises Officer to work at Christ Church school in Greenwich.

As the Premises Officer, you will take the lead role, under the direction of the Federation Facilities Manager, in ensuring Christ Church is a safe, inviting, and positive learning environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You will work to ensure the highest quality of site maintenance. You will support the management and operations of premises-related functions at the school including buildings and grounds maintenance, security, cleaning, health and safety, lettings of our facilities and contractors.

The right person for this job will have:

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with pupils, staff, parents/carers, drivers, contractors, delivery drivers and members of the public

· A range of skills in general maintenance and repair work to carry out various site maintenance duties for both the buildings and grounds

· A full, clean valid driving licence is preferred but not essential

· The ability to work with minimum supervision or as part of a team and also work under pressure

· A conscientious and flexible approach to work

· Preferably, previous experience of premises work in schools and health and safety

As this role will involve contact with children we will take up at least two references before interview asking about your suitability to work with children. Any job offer will be conditional on you having a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Criminal Records Check and Barred List Check, having the legal right to work in the UK and having satisfactory overseas criminal records checks if deemed necessary.
