Grade 4, point 7 - 10 - £22,369 to £24,054

Hours of work: 37 hours per week 52 weeks a year including holiday pay. 

The role operates Monday to Friday on a shift pattern on a rota switching between morning shifts of 5.45am-1.45pm, middle shifts of 8am-4pm and evening shifts of 2pm-10pm. The role also provides occasional weekend cover.

We are currently looking to appoint a Premises Officer Level 2 on a permanent basis. 

The successful candidate will be a hardworking, dedicated team player that has a positive approach to problem solving. This role will involve day to day monitoring of the security and safety of the site alongside maintaining the fabric of the building and grounds.

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skillset:

-      Competent DIY skills

-      Ability to communicate effectively

-      Excellent team working skills

-      Competency to work independently using their own initiative

-      Proactive approach to identifying and resolving tasks 

-      Interpersonal skills to deal with contractors, staff, students and visitors

-      Knowledge and understanding of health and safety

-      A positive and friendly approach

The successful candidate will receive both internal and external training to support them in their role. For the correct candidate we will incorporate an apprenticeship into this role at an apprenticeship rate.
