At Clayesmore Prep we provide a nurturing and caring home-from-home where our pastoral staff are approachable, positive and warm people who are able to establish a healthy rapport with pupils, staff and parents.
We are seeking an outstanding houseparent to manage our boarding house which accommodates up to 70 boys and girls aged 8 to 13. The position is available to an individual or a couple and it is expected that the primary houseparent would teach in the prep school. Teaching or other work in the prep or senior school could be considered for the partner if appropriate. The primary purpose of this position is the pastoral care of boarders and the smooth running of the boarding house in line with the ethos of our school. This is a residential position. A four bedroom house linked to the boarding accommodation is provided with this role.
Pastoral experience with children up to the age of 13, preferably within a boarding school, is essential. Further details and an application form are available from:
