We are seeking a Prep School Officer to join our school community for 27.5 hours per week for 2023

In order to meet the changing needs of our community, there will be unique opportunities and challenges that will require the successful applicant to demonstrate high levels of flexibility, initiative, cooperation and a preparedness to investigate and adopt contemporary pedagogies in a team-based learning environment. 

A growth mindset would be essential for success as a staff member at St Anthony's. 
Our learning environment seeks to support and extend learning through a contemporary pedagogy, making effective use of self-directed learning.

This position is paid at a School Officer Level 3 rate and as such, the successful candidate will be expected to assist in student learning, including supporting students with disabilities, as well as general classroom organisational duties.


It is highly desirable that the successful applicant has:
• relevant and recent experience in primary school education
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with staff, children, and parents
• demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment

To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 3 - $30.97 per hour
