Job overview

Due to the continual growth of the school, we are seeking to employ a Prep SENCo  (Head of Learning Support: Prep School) to join our enthusiastic and forward thinking team from September 2022. The total number of pupils in our Prep School is approaching 300.


The successful candidate will:   

  • be able to provide stimulating learning opportunities.  
  • have the ability to take initiative and develop strategies to promote positive and independent learning.  
  • be able to communicate clearly with all staff, children and parents/carers.  
  • have good time management and be able to prioritise tasks so that all duties are fulfilled effectively.  
  • have the ability to enthuse and motivate children of all abilities.  
  • demonstrate initiative.  
  • work well as a key member of a strong Prep team.  
  • have a sense of humour, tact, sensitivity, patience and flexibility.
