We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Librarian to lead the continued development of an innovative library, which is integrated and integral to the daily life of the Prep School.
This is a term time only role, 40 hours per week excluding breaks, between the hours of 8.00am and 4.30pm with half an hour for lunch. All staff inset days should be attended plus five additional days to be worked in the school holidays. We are open to the role being split between two people to accommodate part time working.

About Haberdashers' Boys' School
Haberdashers' Boys' School is a large independent school located in the village of Elstree, Hertfordshire. Founded in 1690, the all-through school educates around 1,200 boys aged 5-18, all of whom are day pupils.
The School has a selective admissions policy, with prospective students for the senior school expected to pass entrance exams across a range of subjects. The best-performing boys are interviewed to ascertain their suitability for a place at the School. Entrance to the pre-prep and prep departments is also selective, with assessed playgroup sessions and exams used depending on the boy’s age.
