2pm – 5pm every Wednesday in term time until end of May 2017 (Primary only)

THE ROLE

Reading Football Club are looking for a range of subject specialist teachers to deliver on The Hybrid Training Model/Day Release. The role will include managing a tutor group,  Subject specialist delivery, using our online Performance Management Application  (PMA) as well as school liaison

In this role you will play a critical role in the education management of our young players. You will join a dedicated team who are continually committed to ensuring the education at Reading Football Club is meeting Category 1 status

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  •  An outstanding primary teacher, or an outstanding secondary teacher, in one or more of the following areas; English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, German, Spanish, and French
  •  Have competent IT skills
  •  Have experience in working with and/or teaching youth level players/athletes
  •  Have the ability to inspire, motivate, and excite young players
  •  Have achieved high rates of academic progress and a proven ability to track these over time

Person Specification
Qualifications

  • Qualified to degree level and above
  • Hold QTS and QTLS
  • Able to teach to GCSE level (secondary only)

Experience

  • Experience of providing high quality teaching and learning in your subject area
  • Experience of designing and developing high quality resources
  • Demonstrate experience of raising progress

Behaviour

  • Be committed to the highest standards of safeguarding and welfare

Teaching and Learning

  • Outstanding classroom practitioner/facilitator
