We are also the first High Performance Learning accredited school in the world. Doha College is opening a brand new pioneering, 90,000m² state-of-the-art campus, in September 2020, which will be an exceptionally exciting time for the school, as the year will also mark its 40th year anniversary.

The opportunity

We are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Arabic Teacher to join the Modern Foreign Languages department in our Primary school from September 2020. The post holder will be joining a friendly and supporting team and will contribute to teaching Arabic to native and non-native Arabic speakers. Candidates should have the ability to teach Islamic Studies, and the ability to teach an additional language will be a distinct advantage. Applicants should have a degree in Arabic and a teaching qualification and be a highly motivated and successful practitioner, who is willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the college including extra-curricular activities.

Candidates should have a passion for languages and the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire children to succeed, have a detailed knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards.

We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English. A high standard of written and spoken English is therefore essential.

This is a non-sponsored position and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered.
