Job overview

Due to expanding provision from September 2022, we have new posts to expand our current team at Marshland High School, part of West Norfolk Academies Trust. We are seeking to recruit a Primary Teacher (KS2 but willing to work in a secondary environment due to SEN needs) who specialises in speech and language development to work 1:1 with a pupil.

Working 1:1 with a pupil you will provide specific programme support including speech and language development, communication, vocabulary, reading and precision teaching, working closely with the 1:1 HLTA , you will contribute to and attend EHCP reviews and work closely with multi-agencies to provide the appropriate programme for the child.

To work with a child with specific needs including Speech and Language and be able to differentiate the curriculum (KS2) to meet the needs of the child across all non-core subjects, assessing and reviewing the pupil in line with school policies.

To provide an effective education to the pupil within the framework provided by the Headteacher, the Governing Body, DfE and the Local Authority, paying full regard to all statutory requirements.

Hours: Part Time 60% Salary: MPS/UPS as appropriate
