International Community School Branch 1 is in its 6th Year, and Branch 4 is about to start its first year.  Both branches are centrally located in the heart of Abu Dhabi Island.

We have an eclectic mix of staff from around the world and  pupils predominantly with Arabic heritage. Our school environment is welcoming and supportive, for both pupils and staff.  Branch 1 had been graded as ‘Good’ by Irtiqaa in its last 2  local authority inspections.

About the Positions:

Teachers should hold a Bachelor of Education Degree ( or a degree and PGCS in relevant subjects) and have ideally at least 2 years classroom teaching experience. Experience in an English National Curriculum School would be desirable but not essential. 

You will have a role as a class teacher with responsibility for teaching the majority of the ENC subjects to a class of between 25 and 30 children, as well as for their emotional well being.

You will work as part of a wider team, sharing the planning, and supporting each other in your daily roles.

A generous amount of release time is provided to enable good planning and assessment to occur.
