Thailand

  • Expired
Job type:
Full Time, Fixed Term

Job overview

Srinakarinwirot Demonstration School Satit Prasarnmit (Elementary) is looking for a fully qualified primary classroom teacher to work at the new international department, PPiP.

In August 2015 Prasarnmit Primary international Programme (PPiP) welcomed the first intake of students to nursery, reception and year 1. In August 2017 we will be welcoming new nursery students and expanding into the year 3 classrooms. As the school continues to grow we are looking to recruit new teachers to join our youthful, happy and dedicated team of English and Thai teachers.

We are looking for flexible, professional and dedicated teachers to teach a combination of the National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). We follow the core philosophies of the IPC, that knowledge and understanding are learnt by developing skills through an integrated and holistic curriculum. Also at the centre of our school's philosophy are the 9 IPC Personal Goals, and these underline our positive behaviour policy. We want teachers who will embrace our creative and flexible curriculum, and who will put children at the centre of their learning.

Our programme operates within a large, central Thai government school with a fantastic reputation and culture. The department has joined the main school for large cultural performances across the year and any teachers joining our school would be expected to immerse themselves in this part of Thailand's culture and tradition.

We are fortunate to be able to offer work and accommodation in the highly central Sukhumvit area of the city, close to shops, Thai and Western eating and drinking spots and fantastic transport links to the airports, underground and overground.
