The English International School of Padua is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Computer Science to join its highly motivated and experienced team to teach children from reception to year 6.
We are seeking someone excited to participate in the growth of the subject within the key stages. Therefore someone who can:
- Develop and deliver engaging, interactive lessons
- Implement a variety of teaching methods, including project-based learning, group activities, and simulations, to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and activities aligned with the school's learning programs
- Regularly evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and technical competence
- Foster a passion for computer science with the ability to inspire children
- Work with colleagues to integrate Computer Science concepts into other disciplines for cross-curricular learning and whole-school initiatives
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in Computer Science Education, applying new insights to classroom practices
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Collaborative mindset with a commitment to teamwork and sharing best practices
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong professional knowledge and understanding
- Positive attitude toward development and adaptability to new teaching approaches

Joining our Team
The school follows the academic year from September to June. Teaching staff usually work no more than 180 per year (including training days).

Further details will be sent to short-listed candidates only. Interviews are usually held via Google Meet/Zoom, with the interview process always involving at least two members of the SMT.
